Besides British war cemetery, there were also French war cemetery on the Kulikovo Field (between Balaklava and Sevastopol) - about 50,000 soldiersand officers in 17 crypts by regiments and brigades; and Italian war cemetery - on the Gasfort Hill, about 2000 soldiers and officers. Both French and Italian war cemeteries were destroyed during WWI, WW2 and Soviet period. The memorial was restored only in 2004.
